Located in Kéla, village of the Malinka country, 5 kilometres from Kangaba, the Fama camp is an integral part of the daily life of the village. In the very centre of the griots’ activities, present here for centuries, it can accommodate from 50 to 60 persons in traditional huts equipped with mattresses and mosquito nets. Although without electricity, the camp has a large gas refrigerator, showers and European style toilets. It is possible to order meals prepared by the women of the village.
